We’re delighted to invite colleagues and students to join us for 'Early Modern Projects' in VWB 6.01 on Wednesday 18 October between 2.30pm and 4pm. We'll be hearing from Elisabeth Giselbrecht (Music), Lucy Munro (English), and Hannah Murphy (History) about their ongoing projects, so do pop in for coffee, cake, and a chance to celebrate the vibrancy of early modern studies at King's. We'd love to see many of you there, so do please extend the invitation to new PGTs and PGRs. We'll be chatting about:
"Dissemination, Ownership and Reading of Music in Early Modern Europe”, originally funded by the European Research Council, now by the UKRI - Principal Investigator: Elisabeth Giselbrecht.
"Engendering the Stage: The Records of Early Modern Performance", funded by the Leverhulme Trust - Principal Investigator: Clare McManus, Co-Investigator: Lucy Munro
"Medicine and the Making of Race, 1440-1720", funded by the UKRI - Principal Investigator: Hannah Murphy
